SUMMARY - 2024 CAUDIT Cybersecurity Baseline Benchmarking

The 2024 Cybersecurity Baseline Benchmarking report is available to CAUDIT members and provides a snapshot of cybersecurity in the sector. View the report on the CAUDIT website

The Cybersecurity benchmarking survey was an initiative of the CAUDIT CISO group, with input from the UFIT cybersecurity working group. The aim of this benchmarking is to inform decision making by providing Institutions with relevant, sector based, cybersecurity data. Institutions can utilise the data to identify priority areas of focus, and better understand the sector, and their position within it, from a cybersecurity perspective.

The baseline benchmarking provides ongoing capability for annual benchmarking with comparative data and covers 12 major areas:

  • The CISO
  • Cybersecurity in the Institution
  • The cyber team
  • Cyber training
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and standards
  • Governance
  • Cyber threats
  • Funding of cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity insurance
  • Digital identity
  • Third party risk management
  • Future cybersecurity priorities
