The CSRCU works along Commonwealth agencies to coordinate consequence management activities for nationally significant cyber security incidents in Australia. This includes law enforcement operations, the use of legislation, frameworks and plans, board meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
Please join us for a tabletop exercise with the CSRCU and a Member. Attendees are present as observers and can share thoughts and ask questions during the exercise. Relevant Government stakeholders will be present, and a complete list distributed to participants in the handbook prior to the session.
In this session we will cover:
- Processes to obtain information about the incident
- Powers and processes to assist the impacted entity and respond in conjunction with stakeholders
- Processes to assist recovery, including post incident actions.
All discussions will include public messaging including the nature and extent of the incident, response activities, use of regulatory powers/processes, and ransom response.
Recording is available for CAUDIT Members.
