Please join us for a briefing and Q&A with Ciaran Martin – founder of the UK’s world-leading National Cyber Security Centre as its first CEO, Professor of Practice at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government, and a leading global authority on cyber security.
Ciaran is a sought after as a commentator on international cyber security trends and events, providing insights and expertise to the public and private sector and regularly featuring in the media, including the BBC, The New York Times, and the Economist. He is a 23-year veteran of the UK Government, having worked directly with five Prime Ministers and a variety of senior Ministers across three political parties. He held senior positions at HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office, as well as GCHQ. He was head of the Cabinet Secretary’s Office and led the official negotiations that led to the agreed terms and rules for the Scottish independence referendum.
